Overview
The North West tower of York Minster contains 6 bells used to play the quarter chimes (15,30,45 and on the hour) between 8am and 8pm each day.
In addition, it also contains ‘Great Peter’, used to chime the hour, and manually swung immediately prior to the 10am Sunday Service.
